Arguments about Mario aside, Marwan's tweet raises a few questions:

A) if he has just been sacked. It means he was still employed by Salford so couldn't have signed for Leigh 8 weeks ago as some on here said was fact!
B) he was released on a free transfer in July, which means NO team signed him else he would be there ( again proving some on here wrong)
C) it seems allowing him to leave for free Salford have had to sack him to get him off the books ( more evidence he hasn't signed for Leigh)

In summary the people on here stating he had signed for Leigh in July are talking rubbish!

To be more specific, JGR it appears you are talking out your derrière on this and other boards!

I think you also might need to consider the possibility that he was granted a release on the proviso that he keeps his mouth shut, unlike Puletua, and that this news is just framing. Conjecture, of course. Perhaps he is unwell and deemed unfit to play; perhaps he did break club rules. No one man is bigger than the club and this relays that message to everyone else too. A damn shame because Rangi is among the most talented and exciting players I've seen in a Red jersey. C'est la vie.

As someone who lived through the Best era, the saga reminds me players like Chase are a delight to watch but pains to manage... thanks to him for those moments when the season ticket seemed a bargain.

Unfortunately far too few and overshadowed by the stupid suspension.

Though had he been playing for one of the top 4 would it have been as harsh? I think not
