Apparently there's going to be some rumours released tomorrow by Love rugby league regarding us and a few clubs with Canberra. Could it be a forward from Canberra who is being courted by us and other clubs? Anyone got any clues who it could be?

The only person that springs to mind for me is Soliola, as he's out of contract. With Whitehead arriving, I'm not sure they can keep their cap where they want it with both. Trouble is, there's that pesky non-fed rule that would be a problem. In an ideal world, Hodgson would be homesick and we could get a quality hooker in.

When you consider the current back line and then that there is also Johnson and MCB with Evalds coming of the bench it's not exactly a position we are lacking in.

Would prefer to see him play for Salford, think in SL he will be unstoppable.

Just read somewhere that we had put in a serious bid for Burgess and that his coach urged him to accept it, he has though turned it down to stay near his family.

Would have been a cracking addition but if his hearts not in I'm happy to have missed out.

Rumour has it Bibby has signed for Oldham on a 1 month deal also MCB looks like he is heading to Huddersfield on loan also

Someone like MCB is clearly a SL quality back, him going on a rolling month loan to another club can only be good for him and Salford, just make sure of the normal clause he can't play against us and keeps him match fit should he be needed.

Bibby likewise, gives him match practice and gives Sheens/Watson the chance to see him against a much better quality player.

Both make sense, as it did sending Carl Forster to Swinton for a month. What’s the point in having players sat on the sidelines, not playing? Oldham will be an excellent move for Bibby, the standard of the Championship continues to rise year on year and he will benefit a lot from spending time there. It’s a big step up from U19’s rugby he was playing last season too. I would expect that loan period (assuming he impresses) to extend beyond a month. Also with Daniel Vidot nearing return, it makes it almost impossible for MCB to get a look in with the way things currently stand. I agree he is too good for the Championship and with the amount of injuries going around at Saints, Leeds and Huddersfield it wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up somewhere like that for a month.

I would like to see Haggerty get some minutes too, I am just not sure when he will get his chance with us. He looks like a big unit and impressed vs Wigan. Joseph hasn't pulled any trees up in the first two games so he must be close to getting an opportunity.
