I'm not massively interested in the international game in any sport as I support my club and that's it. I'll watch, and even attend the odd game to take advantage of the opportunity to see world class NRL players live, but singing "Ingurland Ingurland Ingurland" with a silly red cross painted on my face is not for me.

Anyway, to add my twopennorth worth, I do think it's embarrassing to be allowed the switch countries. If you want to fly the flag of convenience because you think it'll be easier to get in the team of a country you weren't born in then fair enough but once you've made your choice that should be that.
