MATCH PREPARATION AND PLANNING FROM COACH : Fri Feb 27, 2009 11:31 pm
On the official club website yesterday(26/02/09) our captain Adrian Morley states
We are expecting a tough game at Wakefield. Brad Drew calls the shots there, I rate him very highly. When he's on song Wakefield tend to go well. He certainly caused problems for Salford last weekend. I've watched the video and noticed how a number of tries came from kicks. Salford certainly played well in the second half, Ray Cashmere again impressed, he went well again but the damage was done in the first half.
We cannot afford to make the same kind of mistakes.
If he knows this I presume that the coaching staff and the other players are also aware and have planned how to deal with this. Its not rocket science but where was the gameplan to counter Brad Drew and the kicking game Im no expert but I couldn't see one.
Eddie and Stevo on sky stating how it was ridiculous talking about coaches losing their jobs after three games of the season but this is our eighth loss on the spin and Jimmy seems incapable of arresting this downward spiral.
Its time to clear out the deadwood both coaching staff and players ( no names everybody knows who's finished and who couldnt care less ) and give some of the younger players a chance, players who want to play for the shirt and not just the money, we have got three years to build. If it carries on as it is I will be surprised if we win 9+ games this season and top 8 ha ha ha no chance.
