Indeed. Connor Wrench is one of the most exciting talents I have seen coming through for Wire in a long time. It's very sad that major injuries have ruined the past couple of years for him, and left his potential unfulfilled thus far, but he's still young enough to come back strong and have a decade or more ahead of him if he can get fit consistently. Yes, it's an "if", but plenty of fans were writing off Ben Currie after his injury woes in 2016-17, but here he is at the age of 30 playing some of the best rugby of his career.
Exactly. He is exciting with the ball and has natural centres evasiveness.
If we are going to get beaten by 40 odd points in a game anyway, I'd much rather we do that with Wrench in the side than the other options.
