He's got some stick on here and at games for not standing up and taking control in games, he's still a very good support player but he's really stepped up this season, maybe he could end up taking Brier's spot if he keeps on progressing? he also looks a threat when at hooker too.

Smith might drop him for the QF given Myler's defensive weaknesses. Play this Brier fellow.

I think he's been superb this season for the most part. People who limit his contribution to simply a support player (I know you're not) aren't watching closely enough.

He was arguably the game breaker against Saints and Hudds. I don't think you can ask much more from him.

Some of us have been praising Myler for some time now, hopefully more are realising what he brings to the team as well as the obvious support play and try scoring.

Myler has had a very good season so far - tackles aswell as anybody, distributes the ball inside and out wide well, decent kicking game, scores tries for fun at times, has that #7 instinct to sniff oppurtunities across the park.

If people aren't noticing these things then you need to look closer.

The only thing I would criticise him for is his long kicking game. Far from a high enough standard. That excludes his short kicking game, whilst not quite Briersesque it is none the less very good.

He has been wonderful this season. You can see him getting better week after week.

His passing game is the most improved... he draws defenders in and throws fast accurate passes to briers, which is enabling him space to do his thing... When you consider his age, his current ability and the rate at which he is progressing....I dont think i would swap him for any other scrum half in the league.

He's improved ten-fold since the beginning of this season
His distribution (as morleys alluded to) is fantastic
He seems more confident in "calling the shots" and ordering other players around
The only other scrum-half I'd swap him for, is Brough, but Myler has plenty more years left in him to improve even further
