Started like a house on fire. Dominated the collision, wrapped Leeds up in the tackle and ran the ball hard without any fancy offloads or time wasted turning in the tackle. After thirty minutes or so we seemed to fatigue, which was to be expected. Leeds came out and gave their all in the second half, which was to be expected, but, unlike Wigan last week, we didn't finish them off early and we made things a lot harder than they should have been. I suppose the weather really hindered that as well, but we really should have put 50+ on them tonight, they were dross.
Still, some class tries, the two from GOB were stupendously brilliant, especially the second. Felt we were better, shown more creativity/variety in our attack and shown a willingness to execute the gameplan for long spells. Felt Leeds looked a little clueless, hoping somebody would do something brilliant, like Burrow, instead of actually working as a team to make things happen.
