What do we need to do to win a grand final? let alone get there in the first place.
At this moment i feel like the wire team is old man gambler, inserting coin after coin into a bandit chasing his own money. Throwing money signing overseas, 30+ players does not work! We have done this for years and still haven't lifted the Grand final. We need to start playing youth and developing them its that simple. Yes you need experience but lets be honest, it hasn't worked signing these players. We need that raw academy talent with fire in the belly, who shows grit and desire not some show pony, turns up when it suits, half ar!sed.
Harsh? we dont have the bully in us to win the big time.
Whats next? do we keep price? For me hes finished.
We need a new coach, an attacking specialist coach, we need 2 solid consistant props, we need some set plays and people to actually run some angles as the likes of Widdop looks lost sometimes because he has no support or players wanting to give him an option. We need to stop throwing money at people and panic buying players. The list goes on and on.
We need a new coaching setup. Just that. If any organisation, whether its a business, school or restaurant, is failing to deliver and not getting the best of its assets the top man goes. That's why they get paid the big money.
For all my dispondency today, I remain convinced that a close season spent under a good coach working with the current squad would deliver a vast improvement.
If I’m Moran I’m getting rid of KF and bringing in a ruthless CEO who cares more about results, performances and recruitment than he does about bantering teams on Twitter and going to NFL events.
Sack Price, Henderson and Briers and bring in a new coach and his staff. Names are Ian Watson, Craig Fitzgibbon, Shaun Wane, Danny Ward.
Sell Gelling, Widdop, BMM, Sita, Currie, Jason Clark.
Bring in a marquee prop, a controlling halfback, a hard hitting back rower.

It’s not rocket science.
It’s not rocket science, and it takes no account of contract law, salary cap restrictions and availability, but apart from that it’s dead easy.
Ben Currie? Absolute stinker last night, no doubt about it. But get rid? He's getting close to his imperious best and would come back and haunt us big style.
And I'm no fan but it would be nice to see one of our marquee halves put him through a gap in the way Patton did.

Whoever appointed Fitzpatrick was either,
a) Trying to save money
b) Was pi$$ed
c) Both of the Above.
I'd also suggest that if it was neither A, B, or C, then that person shouldn't be anywhere close to the decision making committee for the next CEO.

Gelling and currie have been good for us this year, none of this is their fault. The rest I agree (BMM already chosen to leave) but also add Latu, just a pointless signing.
If our back row has hughes and Clark in at the same time we stink. That's happened time and time again. It's just too negative and basically takes out backs out of the game. Liam Moore just doesn't shout held, hull were smart enough to hit the ground quickly and get a fast ptb. Jason Clark just kept standing up and stealing all of our momentum and let them have a nice breather. King and currie is our 2nd row answer with Inglis and Gelling in the centres. Smart attacking line up that. Provided of course that we get a proper coach in.
I cannot agree the comments on Jack Hughes or for that matter Jason Clark. They tackle well. They're usually on the pitch for the full 80. They're not Liam Farrell but there aren't many like him. They do the job they're given - and you can't say that about too many of them.

I agree and like what they do but they blunt out attack as well. Hughes would definitely be our 13 for me and Clark probably on the bench. I just don't think it works with them in the same team.
