Wigan head coach Brian Noble believes Super League clubs should be buying up rugby union's big stars.
"Every club should be given a remit to sign one union home nations player," Noble told The Super League Show. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_l ... 892287.stm some valid points, its about time the trend of league players going to union was reversed. there are a lot of good players in union who would be a success at league, and if we could get a few of them to come over, it would enhance the game. it would be good if a few of the welsh side could come over and bolster the crusaders too. i would like to see the rfl try to do something though, and encourage clubs to look at this option.... |
