Rogues what do you think of the theory that the age of Warrington's players is catching up with them and they need to start playing some youngsters like Wigan do?
I watched the game last night after coming back from Salford. I've always rated Michael Monaghan and Briers but they were both poor in the game. For whatever reason Wire played suicidal offload rugby and Smith must take some blame for it. Your leaders (generals) didn't do what they should and settle things down.
As for playing youngsters, yes they will give you enthusiasm, but that wasn't lacking it was composure.
You are going to have to find replacements for Briers, Monaghan and Morley etc soon, so I think you will need too blood a few this year too see if they are up to the task.
Wane tried to do it all at once v Widnes, but it gave him some idea of where those youngster were up to. Interestingly last night with no Richards and O'Loughlin he went with Russell and Farrell. Then he replaced Sam Tomkins with Joe Mellor for the last 15 minutes or so. That was much better option than putting five in from the start.
