Not sure about Widnes and Catalans

That's fine, would sort the problem with the lack of talent. Each of the teams would be much higher quality with much more competition for places. We could even have a 'draft pick' live on Sky, which would be great publicity as I don't think any other competition in world sport has ever axed more than half it's teams and auctioned their players off to the remamining clubs before. We could play each other home and away twice, with an extra fixture against each club at one of the 5 magic weekends.

A 6 team league would be fine by me.

Just go back to a top 6 playoff at the end of the season.

Imagine the excitement, what other sport could offer a system where the team that gets relegated for finishing bottom, could also be the Grand Final winners.

If I didnt know you better, I might have thought that was a sly dig at a club ending with an n, beginning with a Wi and having a ga in the middle.

Similar thing happened to Wigan just a few weeks ago. Game scheduled for the Saturday v Salford; Wigan Athletic were playing Chelsea on Sunday dinnertime and told Wigan to move their Super League fixture to the Monday night so they could prepare.

Apparently Salford notified the RFL and Sky about this weeks ago. Why they couldn't have picked the Wigan v Saints game as the Saturday game and had Salford v Wakefield on the Friday is beyond me.

If Hull KR had hung on to their 26 point lead last week I'll guarantee that Wigan v Saints would have been played on the Saturday anyway with us v Widnes on the Friday.
