I don't think Brown is bagged yet but we are definitely in for him. Widnes taking the pee on transfer.

The top and bottom of it is that a Club with true ambition wouldn't sign a player like brown. They'd either bring in a true world class half or promote a home grown star. But no, if this deal comes to fruition then we'd be seeing two steps backwards rather than one forward.

The question has to be asked, why are Widnes so keen to offload their captain so late in the year?

Im happy with this signing.... We obviously need another half.. A proven SL player with a fantastic kicking game will do for me short term.

Not really a signing looking to the future really


He will do a job for sure but is hardly someone who we can build a team around and Will the transfer fee represent value for money if rumours of Williams in 2018 are true.

I fail to see what that has to do with The facts that surround Kevin Brown but, yeah... Good one.

If Kevin Brown can't put half a shift in behind a pack that consists of: Graham, Hodgeson, Hill, Whitehead, Bateman and Burgess then that kind of shows just how below average he is.

Couldn't tackle a roast dinner, can only pass one way and made of biscuit. But that's ok.... Because he's got a mint kicking game. Jesus wept.

Maybe next year Matty Russell's ded good scoots from dummy half will change everything and give Brown loads of time to run across the line throwing outrageous dummies only for him to get banged, knock on, then spend two minutes sat on his knees looking round with that stupid bewildered look on his face as if its everyone else's fault that he didn't pass the bleeding ball.
