He's been shocking since returning from illness. Assuming it was covid you do wonder how much it takes out of players.

Hull have been shocking since their outbreaks as well and Price mentioned the impact on Mulhern to the media earlier this week.

Not sure what was worse tonight, the lack of quality on show from 2 top 6 teams, or that one eyed buffoon Phil Clarke saying that Wigan weren't that bad at the end of the game because they only got beat by 1 try!

They said during commentary that Wigan scored fewer points on average than any other team in SL, says it all really.

But the energy-sapping bit is the defence. Pretty sure long Covid doesn’t make you more boring. It’s not just Wigan either, the league as a whole is getting less entertaining.

Time for us to go back to the reasons why RL survived back in 1895. We made ourselves attractive to watch to bring new fans and new money to the game.

That was the worst game I’ve seen in a long time. Happens in every sport though - especially when there’s jeopardy involved.

I only watched the second half, and thought myself, haven't missed much when I saw the score. Second half was a mind numbing arm wrestle fest. No wonder the crowd was as sparse as the moments of enterprising and entertaining play on show.
