Thank you for all the interest shown, however, please be aware that the proposed event for Saturday 31 May has been POSTPONED.

Should a farewell event be arranged details will be posted on both the club and Wolves' Foundation websites.

There is no event scheduled this weekend.

That is very disappointing, especially if you couldn't make or get a ticket to the last game. I suppose demolition has already started by now though...

I went by Monday. Boarded up pretty good. I wanted take photos and go in scoreboard and the fletcher street suits etc. tunnel and changing rooms and back rooms.
But there is also no diggers in yet.

How hard is it to schedule a farewell event for a weekend? What is the hold up?

I would say that it's all about insurance and safety.
I would guess it would be pretty hard to allow any event. Perhaps a guided tour could be arranged but I doubt anyone would make the effort.
I suggest going down and speaking direct to the contractors. Less red tape and may stick a hard hat on you and allow you to take it all in and perhaps give you a piece of turf if you ask nicely.
