Would the signing of Myler for a decent sized transfer fee be more of a gamble than the signing of Harris to Leeds or the signing of Sculthorpe to Saints.
I would have said that Wigan signing Fielden for circa £400k was not as much of a gamble but has turned out to be less value for money. He had all the boxes ticked for a big money move. GB regular, GF winners medals but was he a spent force.
Life is full of chances / gambles. It is less of a gamble for me knowing that Tony Smith is involved.
