This is a nice idea but, from my experience, anyone looking to gain access to a site that is derelict, disused or being demolished is not greeted well.

Go in with groups of 2 or 3 (or 1 if you want to take that risk) after hours. There'll be plenty of entry points and nobody needs to know you've been in.

I've tried many times to try and get in but it's padlocked and boarded up well. I suppose you'd have to climb over the gate but they're pretty high. Would have liked the 4 seats that we used to sit on and some turf but can't see that happening to be honest.

If you really want to get in without causing criminal damage on the outside go over the railway end with some lightweight fold up ladders.

I think we need an impromptu Farewell event tonight, either before or after the game, any pub suggestions?

Are you sure? Earlier someone suggested the dug outs and tunnel had been ripped up, but they are still intact.

That's what I was told by the groundsman the other week. He's usually in the Connie Club of a Saturday evening so if I nip in I will ask him.
