I was frustrated by his Wire performances but it was never lack of effort. I also think that some of the work he did regarding suicide and mental health was amazing and as a human being which we often have to remember our players are he was a genuine good guy, involved around the club and community.
I think he copped a lot from being perceived as Powells man and of Powells defence of his performances something he never commented on.
He was just a guy living his best life doing a job he loved, I think a lot of the frustration came from everyone wanted him to do well and he had done better previously.
For me thanks for what you gave the community and your highlighting of male mental health issues and all the best for your future life after playing.
