Well, I think we've come full circle and are back where we were on a rainy night in Huddersfield when we succumbed to a ragged Giants team at the start of Price's tenure.
That game became a catalyst and the team went on a long unbeaten run that not only saved Price but had many, me included, retracting previous mutterings of impending doom.
Would another such run restore Price's reputation? I'm not sure it would; the style of play, the post match banalities, the woeful transfer record, sterile team selection and the wholesale collapse of form in the last twelve months make him damaged goods.
That said, I'd agree the malaise goes further. We are currently donkeys led by donkeys, and our so called playmakers are passing the baton of responsibility to each other with a glance at the pay cheque and a shrug and their paymasters are collectively fiddling whilst the HJ burns.
