Dec Patton is garbage, everyone(except the duckie)including Steve price knows this. Unfortunately he is under contract til the end of NEXT year due to his performances as a bench hooker last season. Which begs the question why we went out and signed another bang average bench hooker? Lets be honest, if Danny Walker wasnt a warrington lad we wouldn't have gone anywhere near him.

It's difficult watching Patton play, almost cheer when he's passed the ball without messing up the play

So our 3rd choice halfback isn’t star material, the “points for” column indicates he must be doing something right. Or is it the view that we are effectively playing games with 12 men?

It’s the single biggest weakness in the squad, nothing that we all don’t know

On the other hand ,he didn't single handedly let in 70 plus points against Saints & Salford.

Of course not. The whole side were poor then, but that doesn't mean he isn't one of the weakest halfbacks in SL. He must be pinching himself to make sure he is not dreaming he has a starting role with a side aiming to be the best in the league. He's very luck we havent managed to find a replacement to deregister Brown.

For those who are happy with Patton as our first choice halfback I would like you to list one area of the halfback role in which he excels.

If Patton wasn't a Warrington lad, He'd of been hounded out the club... by far our weakest link
