From that list, I was told that Carvell had so many injuries that he was unable to train. The words used were " he's a ticking time bomb" and I don't remember him playing many more SL games after he left us. Higham is a strange one as well. Didn't he simply leave us mid season after discussing with Leigh when he was still contracted to us ? It certainly left us in the lurch.

That was the end result not the precursor which cannot disguss on here but it involves money. The move away was negotiatiled by SJM as communication between TS and MH had broken down.
They noticeably didn't talk to each other as they passed to do SKY pitch interviews either. Sad if you ask me...grown men.

Im not saying getting shut was the wrong thing to do.... But acrimonious departures dont help do they? Especially so many.

have all left under a cloud under the last few years.... Not all long serving, but all senior pros, well respected in the dressing room and around the club.

Joel Monaghan also left on bad terms. All these were with TS too not the rest of the club. If they disageee with TS or even have an oppinion they are pushed out eventually. I don't disagree on the injuries but most of them had a lot more to give than some of the players that replaced them.
It's not just the players that are unhappy there's a lot of staff unhappy too

Smith quoted in The Star today saying he's not worried if we crash to a 6th defeat Friday + even a 7th he said he thinks we could get into the top 4.Think the man has totally lost the plot.

TS has already covered his back saying Ratchford will need 2 or 3 games to get match fit [which is fare], wether we think it acceptable is another thing.

He will always have an excuse. Will never take responsibility. He's done good things but past his self life now. Don't think we will see the back of him though

I could well end up replacing my tv on Friday night if Mr excuse starts babbling on.That's IF they lose as I expect them to but am sure in Smiths words the boys have trained well this week.

Should we lose a cheaper option would be to make sure the t.v. button is in the off mode come full time.

I know mine will be.

I believe the must have toy for Christmas is going to be a Tony Smith doll. Just pull the string in its back to hear a string of excuses.
