I would leave Harrison at 13, he had a good game there against Leeds. We may see Matautia in the second row against Huddersfield with Minikin playing at centre, assuming that Nicholson is unable to play, with Holdroyd getting a bench spot.

Best not to let it drag on. The referee said he thought he heard it, Amone admitted hearing it under questioning, and Charnley (who was the player who complained to Griffiths on the field that he hadn't taken action on it) insisted he heard it.

The precedent has been set, so as long as every other incident is reported and punished in the same manner then that's fine. Whether this happens of course remains to be seen, but let's hope so.

Great, when we play Leigh what are the odds on Maguire going looking for Charnley for dobbing him in, especially when Charnley leg traps him Has any player ever missed all matches bar 1 due to suspension?

Well, we know McGuire is a fiery character. He’s also a very good player. It’s up to the player and Powell to work on controlling that aggression. Otherwise he’ll be a very expensive assistant coach.

Powell needs to announce to the media that McGuire is injured for the Leigh Away game (Unless he is already suspended for that fixture owing to another indiscretion!!! )

I disagree, I think maguire needs to be a leader and a professional, get the game won against Leigh no matter what charnley or any other leigh player gets up to and avoid getting needlessly suspended again. He can hit hard within the letter of the law if he wants to play on the edge but he doesnt need to get carried away.

The problem is that if he “plays on the edge”, even the right side of the “edge” he comes with a reputation and is likely to pay the price.
For the record I do not think he shouldn’t play against Leigh, my point was slightly tongue in cheek. I do wonder how he didn't just claim that he said “you’re FANTASTIC” in a sarcastic manner when asked what he said…

If we are worried about him going over the top everytime he plays then what's the point in having him? I don't think be has come over to sit in the stands, I think he'll be fine personally. In retrospect I wish Steve price had got a 7 game ban for his indiscretion live on sky.

I agree with you on the comment, he is adamant he didn't say it but doesn't come with a suggestion as to what he may have actually said! It's a bit fishy isn't it.

All a bit ridiculous for something that happened in the confines of the pitch to which none of the paying public were able to hear. These lads are playing a sport where serious injury or maiming is only one wrong move away.
