Missing from that squad is Briscoe, Rhys Hanbury, Jon Clarke, Simon Finnigan, Dave Allen, Ben Cross, Dean, Alex Brown and we have two more signings getting announced very soon. Australian i've heard. Sione Kite from Melbourne.

That team would have beaten Leigh's last year.

What Widnes achieve next year is of little relevance. They will be happy to get through the season and to win a reasonable number of matches. Their target is a three year one to ensure another license at the end of it.

Season 1 see who cuts it and who doesn't
Season 2 replace deadwood with better players
Season 3 remove longer contracted deadwood and replace, hone skills of SL standard players.

2012 is basically Widnes getting 12 inched week in week out.
