I'm sorry, is this thread about an international half back and reigning Super League Man of Steel, or some amateur player who happens to have the same name as him?

Reading some of the comments in this thread I'm not certain.

Rangi Chase is a top class player and I'll be more than happy if we sign him.

i have a funny feeling there planning to get rid of myler gotta think about the salary cap and if were bidding on rangi chase and bateman we got to drop it some where and lets be honest the way obrien is playing myler will struggle to get back in the squad.

Didn't Myler sign a contract extension last season ?

O'Brien and Ratchford when not on fullback duties are better than Rangi as our future 6's. Myler at 7/9 works so just can't see the need and another year for Briers whilst TS and these three sort themselves out job done IMO

Cant agree more myself, Chase isn't that good from where I am sitting and with Ratchford, O'Brien & Myler why would we want to break the bank never mind chase a guy when we have youngsters as good now never mind in a year or two.

Admittedly, perhaps not many an here can claim to have seen enough of the guy to have a fair comparison, I haven't, have you? But the feeling of one of those 'stinking the thread out' is that we should give our own a chance to stake a claim and come through with Briers having another year.

Not a particularly heinous crime to have a bit of faith and OBrien, Ratchford and Myler are hardly novices that may or may not step up to SL standard
