With regards to Westwood, he knew exactly what he was doing. Again no issue with it.

You are aware that you still employ Danny Brough and Brett Ferres, and in the past you have had Chris Nero, Brad Drew and Paul Reilly.

Don't go mouthing off about the tactics of other teams when Huddersfield are one of the worst teams in the league for grub behaviour.

As a Wire fan I don't have a problem with others having their say about how we play and us debating it.
For me -
Sims is on report.
Arguably should get a ban.
Westwood was super agressive - but generally on the line or the just right side of the line.
Not a fan of some of our forwards coming in borderline late with a stiff arm.
BUT
it certainly wasn't one-sided and unfortunately against the goons you have to match fire with fire.
We did that and they were second best for at least 60 minutes of the match.
They were intimidated in a way I've not seen for quite a while.
Our desire in defence was great - actually it was an 'attacking' defence in the same manner as we saw against Leeds earlier in the year.

So we could be a couple more down for next week. Too many players in the 17 carrying injuries.

The sky commentators and rl fans have mentioned the importance and major influence in the game being attributed to aggression. As shown from last night, it makes such a difference having 2 blokes rather than 1 ie Westwood and Sims ready to mix it. Chris Hill is an unbelievable prop, but I think our pack, since last year has needed more aggro to complement Hill's staple big yardage. Last season, if you were Benny, who would you rely in the forwards to back you up apart from Hill. No pun intended, but with another alpha member (Simms) in the forwards, it gives more confidence to the rest of the players to fire in, knowing that you have good back up.

You stood upto them and gave as good as you got. I enjoyed watching it.

With regards to some of the other posters getting tetchy naming players we had 10 years ago who were 'grubby' you need to get over yourselves. I'm not getting into a pissing contest with you.

My original point was not to whinge about Tomkins or any other Wigan player when yours were just as bad. That is all.

I was actually under the impression that until the England and Currie suspension we were the most disciplined team in SL? Maybe we shouldn't have been as it wasn't working!

We've only given away 115 penalties (10th). Leeds 114, Hull KR 115.

Huddersfield Giants have given away 158 (2nd) with Saints on 162. Huddersfield have still got to play this week though.
