I`m guessing it is Martin Gleeson and not Big Sam.

Possibly a bit of both. Burgess will know Dufty pretty well from the NRL, and may have have been switched on enough as a player to recognise he wasn’t fulfilling his potential.

Then Gleeson has been the way to deliver that potential.

I'm still hoping that we might sign another prop. This weeks squad shows that we are a bit thin. There is always at least two injured or suspended.

I think Ashton is developing into a winger that creates space, and opportunities for others.

We are thin and some, when fit and available, are ineffective. A lot are young and unproven. I think in reality we have 2 top quality prop forwards.

e.g) Ask the question "Which of these forwards would you expect to see in a title winning side"

"Gratuitous" is a word that doesn't get used much ... not in our house anyway. Very impressive ... Captain Hook. I'm going to see if I can slip it into my conversation when I go for my walk around the village.

He's not really had a choice! Of all our centres I think wrench is the best for putting his wingers away with a well timed pass. I'd prefer him next to Ashton than tai or King. Hopefully those 2 can learn that skill from gleeson who was one of the best I've ever seen.
