I personally think this statement is very weak. The Club can confirm that Josh McGuire has left the Wire by mutual agreement with immediate effect.
McGuire has now returned to Australia with his family. We wish Josh well in his next chapter.

No mention of the club distancing itself from the remarks, or mention of standards it upholds - nothing.
For example we could have said
Inclusivity and equality are values the club has worked hard to develop and maintain with excellent work in the community, womens' game, and PDRL. Unfortunately the RFL disciplinary committee has found Josh Maguire guilty of on-field offences on two occasions that strike right at the heart of these core values we strive to maintain. To that end it was no longer tenable for Josh Maguire to continue to represent Warrington Wolves RLFC and as such he has left the Wire by mutual agreement with immediate effect. We would like to wish him well in the future. The club will be making no further comment.
