You can only beat what was put infront of you, and you did that very well. So yeah, fair play, good game. However... Our lot were your 14th man on the day.

Where a coach comes from is irrelevent. From the 1960's onwards Trinity promoted manages from that great team. None were up to much. We stuck with the local thene with Toppo and Kelly who di pretty good but were unable to take us to the next level. Then we got some Aussies and they were no better.

Then in our most desperate moment an ex Cas player and lifelong fan turns up and does the job. Kear is far and away the best Coach we have had in 30 years. I think he is a good coach but I also think he was able to emotionally detach himself and reamin professional. Kear is not caught up in any way in our past, 2006 was year zero for him and all reputations and traditions from before that date mean very little to him.

Cullen will feel the same at Widnes, he will be free just to do his job.

So if we beat you lot 60-8, would you be giving credit to Warrington, or just spouting out that you were absolutely garbage and a lower league team could have beaten you?

It happens all the time. If Team A has put 50 points on Team B, then Team A fans would say that their team played fantastic, whilst Team B would say that their team played garbage, prompting Team A fans to ask why is no-one giving their team credit.

If the score was reversed, then the scenario would be reversed aswell. No-one can win in those situations.

Quins were really good yesterday, some of the trys were incredible, the one they nearly scored at the end (that hit the post) would have been the try of the season so far. Quins were throwing the ball about, offloading and chucking it and it just kept coming off and working

I agree. When a team score 50+ it really can't be put down to great play. Sorry Quins fans but it can't, no SL team functioning normally would conceed that. Quins looked great because they were allowed to play I suspect and once they hit their straps they got on a role, it happens. Clearly Quins are not a 52 point better side than Warrington overall, it's just applies to that game.

Quins oddly enough were fortunate to play us in 2005 when our team had imploded and scored 70 points. They never did it again and didn't win SL and crucially didn't beat anyone else by that margin.

Quins may be a better team this season but I doubt they will be 60 points better than anyone again this year. I suggest they enjoy it for what it is an accept their good fortune in catching Warrington in this state.
