Football has its problems obviously, but as a sport (if you ignore the scum that comes with it) it's hard to disagree with it. I'm sure the RL fans will say things like "they're soft gits, they wanna play RL and get battered", but getting battered isn't the appeal to most, that's why RL will only be played in the heartlands or by breeds like the Australians, whilst football will always be the global game. Just wait 'til Asia get good at it.

Football, like any sport, is "beautiful", when played properly

However, the amount of "beautiful" football games, is significantly less than that of Rugby League (imo, of course)

depends who's playing.

the utd game today was great to watch today.... and the city game.

On the flip side, I'm an Everton fan... and watching us is about as much fun as doing 90 mins of housework.

Football's great, especially the Premier league.

It's quite rightly the best, most intense, soccer league in the world, its the pinnacle of the game, anyone from 1st right down to 2nd has a chance of winning the league this year.


and the prices people pay to watch that Shat amazes me ......
