Couldn't give a stiff one, about the ref's performance, as I've alluded to in the ref for Sunday's game thread, they're all 5h1te, and tonight's proved my point.
What we need to look at, is some of our players' "performances"
Cooper. Games just seem to pass him by. A passenger tonight, with elements of crap thrown in for good measure. Time to go to Salford. You've had your chance, you've not kicked on from your early career performances. Not good enough as a squad player.
Westwood just seems flat atm. No great criticism for a bloke who's given us sterling service for years now, but he's miles away from his potential MoS award last year.
Waterhouse at his enigmatic best, again. Sensational one week, average the next.
I've never been a fan of resting players, no matter what their age, but Brett looks yards slower this season. Have a break, lad, and come back rejuvanated.
MonaghanM is running on 2 cylinders, too.. Time for Dwyer to appear on the bench, giving MM a week or so off.
Riley needs to start getting his shoulder into tackles, instead of brushing off imaginary dandruff off opposition 3/4's shoulders. Luckily for him, he only has Rhys Williams vying for his place.
Atkins looks like he's troubling Waterhouses' mantle for enigmatic player of the year.
Worringly (as pointed out on Sky Sports), two 35 year old props to the urine out of us, tonight.
We need to buck our ideas up.
Positively (at last), Grix and Ratchford looked great in broken play. Superb from Higham.
Leeds played like this at a similar time for the last 2 seasons, but went on to GF glory. They are "battlehardened" in these situations. WE AREN'T.
COME ON WIRE, WE NEED TO IMPROVE. LET'S START THIS QUICKLY, OR WE'LL END UP WITH A VERY TOUGH PLAY OFF ROUTE.
