I'm all for nostalgia but do we really have to name every piece of new piece of brick and mortar after Warrington players? Not everyone wants their postal address to be named after a 1972 prop forward you know.

Am I correct in thinking we played a few friendlies there after the Wakefield game? I'm sure I remember Sean Mellor on the tannoy: "final score in the last ever game at wilderspool [...], the next last game at Wilderspool is next Friday against New Zealand A" Could see Wilderspool out of my bedroom window when I was growing up, will be strange to see the old girl go.
