Can you please name the SL squad that, player for player, has been any better than ours in the last 3 and a bit seasons?

Saints are good, so are Wigan. Though neither are massively better. As for the rest, Hull and Cats are decent, I'd suggest Cas have punched above their squad's weight and Leeds are just living on past glories with a very average squad since their last GF win.

Wire, injury free, are certain top 4 and shouldn't be going out of comps in the feeble manner we have in the last couple of years.

We have the best centre and hooker in the league, two marquee halfbacks, two of the best props in the league, a back row line littered with England internationals.

Only Saints have a better squad on paper.

I would disagree. I don’t think they have our depth and they only have the one marquee!?

They have. I would argue that better management was key. However, after 4 years, I think Price has improved enough to carry the better team on paper, to forgo the potential.

Ratchford or Coote definitely at full back.

All three St Helens overseas forwards look good. Paasi is the sort of forward our fans seem to want, Thompson and Matautia are solid. I'd have two of those in place of Fages and Lees in the 17. I'd have Philbin on the bench. I'm also not sure you need Roby and Clark in the 17.
