Agree sort of, I mean we will know after a few games. Also has he got plans for any players he wants, hope he is not going to try talk Mata’utia out of retirement.

Just pointing out that although you may question his credentials because his team currently sit 8th, he’s still assistant coach at arguably the biggest team in the league, he hasn’t achieved that position by chance. Also, to add the greatest coach in history was desperate to bring him to Dolphins as his assistant, he must be half decent you would have thought.

we're appointing probably the greatest ever British export to the NRL, as head coach... Maybe its a risk worth taking.

Would of that was Morley, well he at least led the way.

you can argue Morley was the greatest in the time he was there... Burgess spent along time being a stand out player... that means something when it comes to respect of current player base.

Fair point, I said Morley because he went over there and pretty much killed from the get go, they soon knew who he was and then to pop over here and Win a grand final.

Morley beat everyone up for 2 years... the whole league was running scared... Morley had the most impact... No doubt about that

I am a Warrington fan, I have been for 50 years, so if they appointed Ronald McDonald & the Hamburglar as our coaching team, I'd still support my team....

.....but that doesn't mean that I'd be happy with the appointments from the get go, and that's the same feeling I have with Burgess & Long (although Burgess gets a bit of leeway coz I grew up on Burgess Avenue!)
