As has been said, his mere presence will have a galvanising effect on the squad. I would imagine that he has no specific allegiance to any player so they all know that their place on the Warrington Wolves 'gravy train' is in jeapardy.

I don't for one second believe the "Jimmy Lowes is in complete control this weekend" line. He is now the boss, he is now responsible and accountable. I have no doubt that Jimmy will have a major input, but the ultimate decisions will be Smiths. For example, if he wants an impact hooker, then I have no doubt that we will play with an impact hooker.

Smith wil do nothing else this week than watch and observe... hopefully he will see a new team that is willing to play for the shirt and not just the wage and make changes next week if necessary. If that means bringing the best of the reserves through then so be it but i am sure the likes of briers wil show what he is made of 2moz against the mighty leeds.
