I used to go in all areas of Wilderspool including the old and new stands. And did a few seasons at pond corner where the clients were very level headed knowledgable guys.
The best thing that happened was putting the gate in to prevent the yobs running round the ground to start fights.

And there was a bog there at the side of the stand tho many folk vexed against the corrugated fence.

The trains used to slow down to get the score to pass it on at the station
