I wonder if Paul Bishop and Green Vigo still exchange Christmas cards

He didnt miss Bish that day did he.

I was once told a funny tale about Green Vigo by a former Wiganer colleague of mine, Whilst in the hopital Waiting room waiting for his appointment my mate saw Vigo waiting to see the Receptionist to book himself in also for an appointment.

bear in mind this is all told in a thick wigan accent.
Apparantly Vigo wasnt a quite person ,maybe due to the fizzy stuff, and he would laugh....loud at anything,

Apparantly he had turned up at the right time for his appointment just the wrong day and after shouting out loud for the whole waiting room to hear "oh my appointments next Tuesday not this Tuesday" ...he laughed uncontrollably and then walked off and all you could hear was Green Vigo laughing to himself and Saying "ha ha Next Tuesday" all down the Hospical corridor...

like I say told in a thick Wigan Accent It was much funnier

I believe he has told tales of some pretty bad racism during his playing days...and was incorrectly reported as being dead in 1999.

That was just out and out cheating. That kind of performance nowadays would get a ref sacked or at least demoted to the Championship for a season or so.
