Stalking Matt King

I can understand Kings frustrations getting the better of him and not condoning what he did but I can understand the reason.

Anyway well done to him for being big enough to apologise, also a pat on the back too for gzus for owning up and apologising I think on Sunday everybody was very disappointed and frustrations got the better of some people. Lets put all this behind us now and move on for everyones sake.

Now one person has been pressured into apologizing for a non violent, clean 'banter', will everyone be forced to do so. How about an apology for booing?

Credit to King, however a certain fans actions has been blown out of proportion here and there are far worse actions/people from that game on here.

Let's draw a line under this.

On that last point, do you think supporter in question regrets what he did and might decide in future matches to behave in a little more grown up way? This is not the first time he has made a show of himself after clearly having had too much to drink.

If you are so sure, why not name and shame him. As from my view on here and not going, Gzus seems to be getting a raw deal. He said himself he was not drinking as he was driving. The facts and opinion are getting interwined.

Well done Mr King.

We now need to adopt a siege mentality all round - players / fans /officials - we are one big team, let's start acting like one.

Remember, we have no divine right to win every game !

We do have a right though if we are spending a decent whack each week to expect the player to try their best and run their blood to water.

They did V's Leeds and got new abuse at all, they didn't at London and got abuse for it.

The only people that can halt the fans reactions are the players by being seen to be busting a nut on the pitch.

on that point, for(and i'm not starting any king bashing here so please don't miscontrue it as that) with every player you can say "wow, that was great" or they've done something that really amazes you or impresses you, be it a great pass to set someone away(briers) shuddering tackles or thundering runs,(see some of johnners DH running v leeds) something that catches your eye. At least once.

Even going back to mike pechey in 98 and that run where he knocked edwards on his arris. He was crap for the rest of the season but that sticks out in your mind.

i've not had one of those moments from king, yet.
