So are you saying this is Powell's fault ?

This is 100% down to the players refusal to adapt to somthing new or just not being good enough to play that way and win.

For how long have we been a player short or the next signing will be the one, like vvd at Liverpool !! Our best players are as culpable for this garbage too some of them have been here for Smith price and now Powell with the same crappy attitude!

We don't have players who will do what's needed to improve to become winners if they've not done it over the last 2/3 years why expect it now. Majority are just happy to pick up their wages win or lose they're not really bothered. We can bring in any coach and will get the same performances over the season. 16 players out of contact, and I can only think of 2/3 who I would extend, not just based on this season but the last 3/4 seasons. Our squad needs a major refresh which I think we will see. I wonder if any have been told already to look for another club ?

What I think is needed is for the club to stand by powel love the players who've gained too much power in the dressing room and back him in replacing whoever !! This will completely change the culture at the club overnight almost players will come and know they have to perform and deliver to stay at the club we've become a soft touch in rewarding failure.
agreed, I'd back Powell over the players.

Matthew Turner of the Warrington Guardian just tweeted the following. An horrific half in which the Wire fortunate to be only 20-6 down and the first 20 mins the worst he has seen in his six years covering the club.Seems like Powell being thrown under the bus.

Now chants from the away end of you are not fit to wear the shirt.

:D

Players can go but so can Powell. Burn it all to the ground and start new. Powell can't change a teams attitude and the team won't for him. Probably something to do with shipping out the likes of Hill and Mamo to make room for Holmes and Matautia who lets face it have been a huge step down from the two they've essentially replaced.

Thing is, if he keeps choosing the same players then he's to blame as much as them.

I still cannot understand why on earth Powell gives Hughes the captaincy. It gave out the wrong signal for me, and the gauntlet seems to have found itself on a fishing boat off the cost of the Faroe Islands.

Think that one confused a lot of us before the season started, have we been vindicated in our thoughts.

That's a fair point but to drop the headline players is a public statement something is amiss. Personally I'd be behind him if he did but I agree he should be shaking things up more.

Well maybe a public statement is needed, if he keeps picking these players he will be the one that loses his job. He will have to be bold and just do it.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
