Patton deserves a go..we've had naff all from our so called mega star..so if Patton doesn't do much tonight he's on a par with Roberts...also let's not forget livett may be his partner. So it may not go to plan

Not having a pop here but why does he deserve a go,has he not had enough chances already.

I don't think he has K.
TS treated him like fodder.
He has made some blunders of consequence, but with him actually getting a shot with coach support rather than as a last resort, it would do wonder for his confidence.

Judging Patton tonite playing behind one of the weakest packs fielded in living memory is harsh. He will be lucky to get the ball in the opponents half

It's not about tonight, it's about the team on the field in October. Price has an opportunity to see what the back up is like in an emergency that is all. I don't think there's many that believe Patton is going to start in any of the meaningful games unless one of Brown or Roberts legs fall off.

Patton wasn't our worst half by some distance....however John Bateman was probably the best half in the whole game and he was in the pack!
