Of course - Leeds always start slowly and I don’t think for a minute that they won’t be in the mix come the end of the season.
Fair play to Leigh though, they look stronger than many promoted teams have recently, and I have to compliment Beaumont on the marketing side of things. I found the whole thing a bit cringe-worthy and cheap when it was first announced, but he’s really made an effort and stuck with it. The show last night was Bradford-esque (Bradford of old) and I hope the locals buy into it. It’s a nice RL ground and with that sort of match day package it makes for a much better experience than leaning against a urine soaked wall at a crumbling old ground in Yorkshire.
