The appointment of Sam Burgess is a big leap of faith when compared with Justin Holbrook. For me, he has my support and I give him the benefit of the doubt, as I'm more than relieved that the Daryl Powell era is finally over. Let's see what happens. If he does bring some players with him, as Powell did, I really hope that they will strengthen our squad, as opposed to weaken it.

he was my No1... But I'm fully behind this one now.

Its a brave, aggressive appointment... few nice signings... few encouraging press conferences by Burgess..... We will all be fired up going into next season.

Wow I get my predictions of the coaching structure (well nearly chambers instead of Cullen)right and you lock my thread, pure arrogance, but expected of wire fans who now jumping on the Sam burgess wagon.

Was not overly happy when the news of Burgess signing was announced but yeh agree we need to get onboard with it

what's the alternative? get all bitter and twisted.... be wound up before he has even taken over?

I agree with you but we should have won a grand final before now with the resources we have. And yes read the posts about Leeds trying to copy Wigan back in the day and it not working. Just this announcement did not feel inspiring to me at first. But like others have said there is not exactly a great choice right now, maybe Briers in a couple of years
