As for yesterday's defeat, none of the above let the side down with Westwood and Carvell in particular very impressive. For me, the reasons for the defeat were as follows: Monas and Briers both had off-days; far too many daft errors across the team; Salford's defence was very good.
Friday's match probably had an impact in that we had to train all last week with 9 players missing, can't have helped preperation. But that's down to the success of our players and team - hardly a failing!
