Jack Edwards was 16 when he made his debut.
Bobby Greenough was 18 I think and they were one of the best half back combinations I have seen.
Alex Murphy was 16 or 17 as was Lee Briers.
I appreciate that these were players of precocious talent but, as the old adage says, If you're good enough you're old enough.
Unfortunately we don't seem to be producing such players these days. Or is instinctive talent being coached out?

I think its his lack of interest in SL, he doesn't do his research as much hence the low success rate. But I agree that he's still more credible than the journalists over here and has good sources.

This might not be far off the mark from what i heard this Morning .. Apparently our new signing could be a guy Called Joel Romelo according to a mate of mine .. Melbourne storm reserve grader .. He plays he plays 6 , 7 , 9 or 13 ... so not an out and out Halfback .

In the back of my mind is the fact that the Club were planning on Lee playing for this season and then they would need to recruit a new HB. I am sure that the Club have had a new HB planned for the 2015 season for a while now.

If we sign Romelo then Trent is definitely on his way at the end of this season. The 2 of them don't get on.

I love it when the Warrington Wolves Serious Rumour Squad are on the case. The 'inside information' and speculation are intriguing. Particularly as the club are so parsimonious with the information that they put out officially.
