On a serious note. Tom Lineham 's defensive positioning was really poor at Hull and by the sound of it he is continuing this at Wire. A good coach would remedy this reasonably quickly...then I realised you had Richard Agar.

Tom Lineham is about as agile as an asthmatic ant laden with some heavy shopping...

By the way, I'm asthmatic and have to use an inhaler. I can't believe how bigoted you are spegs.

Hughes is doing overtime defensively making up for his wings' frailties.
How a 17st guy can get pushed off in the tackle is beyond me.
The kick off that went between him and Hughes was mainly his fault.
Almost touching the ball as it went out from a Saints kick was inept.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now but he's got a lot to do to justify his price tag. And I agree that Ormsby is unlucky not to be playing.

FFS

I'm offended by Wire "fans" CONSTANTLY having a pop at a player, whilst being
a) top of the league
b) most points scored
c) best points difference
d) said player scoring regularly

yes, he's making some mistakes, doesn't everyone, he's doing what he did at Hull....scoring regularly but making the odd mistake. In short, he's doing what we expected. Shouldn't the whingers be directing their ire at Smith and Agar (mind you, Agar's had more stick than necessary) for not addressing Lineham's shortcomings.

Warrington fans.....you can't beat 'em.....shame, in SOME circumstances.

We lost that game COLLECTIVELY. Not because of a winger.

Get a grip.

Good post, we weren't brilliant as a team, completion rate and errors brought too much pressure on to ourselves and we suffered for it. We were still only a couple of conversions away from nicking it.

Lineham is playing because the club has to justify the fact they have paid a lot of money for him and are continuing to do so via his high wages.

The likelihood of him spending some time in the reserves or out on loan are minimal.
