Only Alfie Langer as I’m aware played State of Origin while still at Wire.
This also made him selectable for the Green and Gold.

So the loophole is there, and if Vaughan was selected for SOO, any test games would have counted

I can only assume Vaughan was either not selected for SOO at the time just prior to his infamous c-19 bbq.

All moot points when it comes to Vaughan. He's already served 2 matches of his ban and we'll have at least a couple of friendlies before the season starts (hopefully 3 so that he can get a pre-season game under his belt).

They're so blinkered. Don't ask yourselves why clubs owners and players/coaches are willing to risk fines to say how they feel about the system, just slap them down and carry on regardless. It's telling when individuals from both sides are fined for the same game, surely it would be worth re-examining the referees conduct since it seemed to affect both teams? But no, we're right, you're wrong, and as Bob Geldof once said, just give us yer f'in money.
