Very strange i know however, with the same squad virtually that every one was giving a hard time post wakefield, we managed to nearly beat leeds, apparently (not sure how true) lowes picked the squad with no input from smith.
i know people were playing for their places and trying to impress the new coach but it still leaves me thinking our problem appears to be one of self belief.
on paper we have on of the best, and probably most expensive group of players in the history of superleague, promising youngsters along side seasoned veterans who have expierienced sucess in both the NRL and over here.
so to use an expression i consider ussually to be psycho- bable does Smith have the ability to intall some positive mental atitude? i sure hope so, because in my opinion, i know it differs from most of the users of this forum, offloading half of our players 4 games into the season, sending em back to Australia or where ever will not help the mind set of the remaining players.
constantly slagging them off on here i'm sure must have some kind of negative impact as well, although they've probably been told not to look on this site, i'm sure the temptation does get the better of some people.
any way i'm rambling.............
