Believe it or not i actually went to the Barrow game last night (i work in barrow during the week). Not to beat around the bush but the stadium is a right toilet and needs a lot of investment or even a new stadium. There was rumours about a ground share with the football team. But as far as finances go i think they are quiet healthy. I believe the have successful local business man pumping money into the club. Hence the signing of Rooney, Bracek and possibly Briers.

Barrow needs a full time team in the town and also it would be good for Cumbria. The place is a right hot bed of Amateur teams so local talent is in abundance.

Surely Fax and Widnes should be ahead of Barrow for getting in.

Both have higher crowds and good stadiums, infact better stadiums thanquite a few super league clubs.

With abit of success they would both have the same impact that Hull KR have had in super league.

Barrow even in super league with a new stadium would struggle to get 5000 on IMO.
It would of been interesting to see how many they could of got on for the cup game against us had it been in a bigger stadium.
