Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Sort of makes earlier suggestions that he had offered his resignation questionable.

It was only a couple weeks ago that "Big Karl" was telling us how happy the club is to throw money at the best players at our rivals. Unfortunately we have only been able to get the unwanted players at a jumped up price but why wouldnt we be able to pay off squash boys wage if that's what it takes. Richard Agar hardly has a shining career in coaching Rugby League so suppose he could take the money and open a nice bakery somewhere.

Yeah, I read that article too.

I surmise that he knows that the Wire hierarchy want him out, & he is hanging-on for an offer by Warrington to buy his contract-out.

Its a game of cat & mouse now to see who blinks first.

We could easily afford to just keep paying his wage monthly and have him on garden leave. If he wants to go anywhere in the 12 months he will have to terminate.

I will be very disillusioned with the club if he remains for a 4th year.

That could be a way of levering both Agar & Smith out!

I don`t think Smith would agree to Agar being treated that way, & would threaten to resign.

If we breeze through the qualifiers & ensure SuperLeague for 2018, then the Board of Directors will make their move, initially on Agar.

It then depends on Smith to accept that appointing his best mate as his assistant coach was a blunder. If Agar leaves on good terms, than Smith will stay for the remainder of his contract.

Alternatively Smith could walk, if he deems that Agar has been forced-out

I would imagine that Smith's negotiating power is diminished following the worst league performance in 15 years whilst spending a fortune in the process to achieve it. Both will be very lucky to survive into 2018, and only at Warrington would they have that chance.

The club have no choice but to sort this issue immediately after the qualifiers are over, otherwise season tickets sales could take a nose dive.

When season tickets are ready for renewal the club needs goods news and the fans need something to look forward to!!

True that, but wouldn't say was a bad thing.

we had an a email at the weekend telling us about the direct debit options for renewing my season ticket..... you just cant make it up.... the weekend we are playing our first lower league game in hundreds of years...

My missus asked am I renewing?
my reply ended in ......"Off" ..... she didnt even get angry at my choice of words....!!!

nope that's me done as a season ticket holder...... I wouldn't pay for these second string matches if I had the choice.....

if as seems likely, The coaching set up stays the same, players played out of position regularly, and players dropped and reinstated regularly then nothing will change, and our League position next year wont change....

so the only thing that can change is the fans.... soI'm not putting up with it.

I'm struggling to energise myself to go the Catalan game, never mind looking to next February.
Until the club confirms who is in charge for next year, keeping money in pocket.

It's hard to argue against PAYG due if

1. there is uncertainty of when the games will be played
2. you never have difficulty getting a match ticket ie) lock outs.
3. if you are not bothered about having "your seat".
