My point was that we have 8 of the best 30 English players in the competition, without our two highest paid players being factored in.

Do you really have 8 of the best 30 though? Only Clark and Hill would get in the Wigan, Saint's, Leeds starting 13 at the minute imho....

Not sure I would agree with this unless you also think Sarginson is one of the best centres in the League. There are some strange picks amongst those 30 to be fair along with some notable omissions. Charnley hasn't even been Wire's best winger for some time, let alone one of the best in Superleague. Clarke, Ratchford, Cooper all day long. Hill, Currie and Charnley definitely not, at least on current form.

Taking off the Primrose tinted specs I would only include Clarke (who should be the starting Hooker) and Ratchford as he provides great utility cover.

I thought the squad was chosen on form.
That's clearly not the case.
But the fact he's named 8 players in the squad shows he has belief in them and knows tyre are good footy players in them that he can bring out with the right coaching and tactics........

If that is the case. Get him as Wire coach.
