I do 3 goals or more in the footy had 3 up so far £9 and two £17 wins at a quid a line...put in a tin and see what we av come may...pays for trips out on holiday and duty frees in airport..I.ll put them on here next week so you can avoid em like the plague.if anyone's interested..

Pro jockeys can get as almost as little or as much as they wish.
2/3 necks to a craftsman horserider can be like a casually pacing behind a medium distance runner and doing enough to qualify for the final.
That's all Hannigan was doing... Keeping the horse so much in the frame as to prove his ability amongst horses around that class.

You can believe me Hannigan could have won that race if connections wished....so much so, that you convinced put him as your tip.
But I already knew the Good Doc had Growl entered in the Gold Cup.
If he won at York he'd be hit with a 7lb pull....how will that benifit him in the race?

For one, Paul Hanagan didn't ride Growl that day, and secondly the handicapper can still raise a horse a pound or two even though it didn't win.
It was too close to winning for it not to be trying, and there was money for it as it was longer odds in the morning. We'll just have to disagree.

Ok. Yes he put a good claimer on.
And no. He won't and isn't hit with a penalty.
Yes they can get hit between 1-3lb for a series of short heads 2nds...but not 2 necks.
A short head rule if thumb is 1lb in weight...but yes there are variants over distance.
And you said you want to disagree...that's fine...but agree or not, Growl could have won that race with ease....but he dunt and I told you he wouldn't....however he'll be unlucky not to win at Ayr.

RD, it's all academic as it's done and dusted.
Bold statement saying he'll be unlucky not to win at Ayr, as there will be big field for the prize money on offer.
Be interesting to see which horse Hanagan rides with George Bowen and Kimbrella also running for Fahey.

Just had a go at that myself,was going to put £20 on but would only allow max bet of £15, annoying is that.
