KR and FC were massively under strength.
40-50 minute wins at most of the games we've played this season.

We still lack something up front as Westwood and Tasi and BMM if we're using him as prop, are lacking what we lost even from George King.

To listen to opposing coaches ,i don't think we have beaten a full strength side so far this season ! They all seem to get their "reasons" in before kick off.

You may have something there. Could it be that opposing coaches look at our strength on paper and accept the loss before the game kicks off? The exceptions being Saints, who wanted to compete and Salford - who had to compete having lost 4 on the run.

It seams to me everyone knows our first up defence is our weakness...or laziness.
We give every attacking team 7-8 yards to run if they want it.

Agree RD, this was main issue at Saints and against Salford. I listened to the game at HKR, and therefore cannot comment as to whether we improved in that department. HKR's try came about because we backed off, hope this wasn't/isn't going to be repeated.
I doff my cap at Ratchford's excellent goal kicking.

I miss our defensive intensity from when price took over, or that commitment and effort we had not seen for a while under smiht. The players seemed to have slacked off or reverted to old habits. It's surely a mental thing to maintain that and be proud of it.

Is it coincidence that it's happening now we seem to be more of a threat going forward? Did we over complicate our buildup to the Easter weekend by holding back in defence to conserve energy?

We cannot keep bemoaning the forwards as not good enough, they have it within them to have matched the Saints, salford and catalans pack. On that particular day they didn't for two of those sides we win more often than not. So the actual game does not frustrate mess much as our ability to persistently lose games were expected to win. I cannot really put that on price as the same could be said under Smith. So I don't know how it keeps happening, same could be said about Liverpool they always had a loss to a Sunderland or Coventry and were the same but under klopp there's been quite a big turnover of players the team today is quite different to from a few years ago. Has price had the oppertunity to bring in enough of his own yet to turn us into genuine title contenders or is he starting to build? I'm still not sure iveseen enough to think this team can win the grand final, they can beat any side in tbe league but in pressure games I'm not always as confidant.

There are only 2 teams who can win the grand final this year, and we are one of them. Saints are favourites, and rightfully so, but they were the best team by a mile in the regular season last year. Every time I hear price speak(after a win or loss)he has a steely determination in his voice. Saints will be very worried when they meet us in the grand final.

Sort our defence out by moving up quick and smothering their attack. Saints showed us how to do it-we used to do it well on occasions, especially against Leeds. Also, look at the effect it had on Austin, it completely took him out the game. It just takes a bit of extra effort and a bit of an aggressive attitude.
If we don't do it v saints, we'll lose again, no doubt about it. On a plus side, our attack is looking better this season, but as shown already; it's only fully effective when we're playing on the front foot, and defence plays a huge part.

Can we pause a moment and be delighted that Sita was great on Monday. He put in some huge carries and nudged up his average minutes.
The delight amongst the team when he scored was notable.
I believe he's picked up the M.o.S. 1 pointer. Super stuff

Yes it's very encouraging, I think Philbin described him as "possessed". Let's hope he is rewarded by keeping his place in the side.

Akauola has all the physical attributes. Hopefully Price has played it well and brought a new attitude out of him. Very pleased to see him get a MOS point.

With the way our forwards performed against Saints and Salford, surely he has to keep his place. Matt Davis too.
